Ready Meals @ North West

The rising cost of living has placed increasing pressure on households across Singapore in recent years. Everyday essentials, including food, have become a growing concern for many families. Ready Meals @ North West is a practical response to this reality, ensuring that residents across the North West have access to affordable and convenient meals whenever they need them.

About the Programme

Ready Meals @ North West is an initiative by North West CDC that brings affordable and convenient meals directly to residents across the North West. With meals priced below $3.00, the programme aims to ease cost-of-living pressures and improve food accessibility for all residents, regardless of background or circumstance.

The vending machines operate 24/7, extending convenience for all residents to purchase affordable ready-to-eat meals. As part of Phase 1 of the launch of these vending machines, they will be deployed across the 14 North West Divisions within proximity of public rental blocks, bringing this cost-of-living initiative directly to the low-income residents in our community.

Identified low-income households will also be able to redeem meals for free through a dedicated credit system, and thus, serve as a value addition to the CDC’s ecosystem of support, complementing current existing schemes such as Project Sama Sama @ North West, North West Food Aid Fund and the North West Service Weeks.

By the fourth quarter of 2026, the programme will expand to up to 100 vending machines across all 20 Divisions in the North West, bringing affordable food options within reach of every resident in the community.

Ready Meals @ North West is part of North West CDC's broader effort to support residents through the challenges of daily life. By making affordable meals accessible around the clock, the programme aims to provide practical, tangible relief to those who need it, in line with our commitment to building a Caring and Healthy North West.
